1. Scott Walker - Scott 3 (1969)
När The Walker Brothers, de där med den där låten The sun ain´t gonna shine (anymore), pausade sitt samarbete 1968 fortsatte var och en av dem med varsin solokarriär. Vad som hände med de två övriga är mer än jag känner till, men sedan ett par år tillbaka är jag personligt väl bekant med Scott Walkers (Noel Scott Engel) tredje soloalbum. Ett album som åren kring utgivningen inte rönte särskilt stora framgångar i och med artistens dragning till det experimentella, vilket då i radiosammanhang inte lät särskilt väl ihop med de i övrigt pop/baroque-klingande arrangemangen. Ett faktum som ett decennuim senare skulle leda honom in i något som snarast måste beskrivas som avant-garde, vilket skulle komma att sysselsätta honom ända fram till hans död 2019. Bland annat i samarbeten med drone metal bandet Sunn O))). Nå, de som tycker om Jacques Brel, kan åtminstone kalla Scott Walker för en amerikansk-brittisk kopia av den Belgiska chanson-mästaren.
